We have really enjoyed this last bit of summer! (Although we are looking forward to a bit of endless summer, since we’ll arrive in Melbourne in the heat again!) Classes are about to begin in Pittsburgh and we had our first few meetings with returning students to rally towards getting the gospel to the campus. It’s an exciting time of the year for us, as we reconnect with students and have a chance to engage with new students coming to campus for the first time. Please be praying – these first few weeks of the semester is the time when students are looking to connect with a community. We’re having a BBQ on 8/28 and our first Cru meeting on 9/1. They’ll be great events to invite students to to hear the gospel and get connected to the community of Cru. We’re hoping that relationships are started through which students will get into each others’ lives and be open about their faith and how Jesus is the only way to have real significance in this world!
