About Us

We met at Penn State University in 1999 where we were both getting involved with Campus Crusade for Christ.  We both started following Jesus in college and our lives were changed!  We got to know each other by playing intramural sports together and became fast friends.  We started dating in April 2000 and continued to get to know each other and encourage each other in our new found faith!  We felt called by the Lord to join staff with CCC because He used that ministry to help us understand His love and we believe that students are the leaders of the next generation – what a difference they’ll make in our world if they live for Jesus!

Jason graduated in 2002 with a degree in Civil Engineering and Maria graduated in 2003 with a degree in English.  We dated for 2 1/2 years and got engaged on October 18, 2002, when Maria was a senior and Jason was doing an internship with CCC.  We were married on May 24, 2003 and joined staff that summer.

We lived in Grove City, PA, for our first few years on staff and then moved in 2006 to the city of Pittsburgh, where we now lead the staff team and coach movements on 12 different campuses!  It’s an exciting and faith-stretching job and lifestyle!  In 2007, Hannah came into our lives and we were forever changed, of course.  She keeps us laughing and growing in patience and love.  Being parents is a humbling but rewarding experience (and we’re always open to advice!), and we LOVE her!!

We are back living in Pittsburgh and loving it!  Right now, we’re counting down the last 5 weeks before our daughter, Evangeline Grace,  will be born!  We are all excited, especially Hannah, for this darling girl to come into the world and our lives!  We are in a season of raising support full-time right now and then we’ll re-engage with the Pittsburgh Metro Staff Team and get back into ministry on campus!
